Company History
In 2002, High Point Coffee began as a single coffeehouse in Oxford, MS. The following year a roasting business began in New Albany, MS to support company growth, and eventually moved to Oxford, MS in 2006. The Oxford roasting plant, High Point Coffee Distribution, currently sells coffee to a wide variety of businesses including, grocery stores, coffee shops, c-stores, ocs operators, and a national distributor--Vistar. Along the way, we have created distributor and coffee house business opportunities for entreprenuers. Our entry into Office Coffee Service in 2007 enables the company to provide direct customer contact in a cost effective way to expand the brand.
Through the passion and commitment of our employees, and the loyalty of our customers, High Point Coffee has been voted Best Coffee in Oxford, MS five years running, and in Memphis, TN in 2009.
The company supports sustainable growing practices and equitable relationships through worldwide alliances. High Point is a member of the Specialty Coffee Association of America, the Rainforest Alliance, FairTradeUSA, the Organic Crop Improvement Association, and the BBB of Mississippi.
